One of the joys of my cigar habit is supporting a local cigar shop where I'm always welcome and the proprietors know me. Anyone have a favorite place like this? Mine is a Tinder Box and the father & son are the best. Lots of freebies too. Share your favorite spot for a smoke!

Mine is 5 Points Cigar Shop and Lounge in Athens, Georgia. They've got a pretty decent selection, nice lounge, and it's one of the closest to my house.

Selection and location matter a lot. I’ve been to a few spots with less than knowledgeable staff. It makes a difference when they treat you right and know their sticks.

Rain City Cigar in Seattle. Always cheerful, knowledgeable, and a great clientele, but state law prohibits a lounge

Though I don't get there very often, my favorite shop in the area is Iwan Ries. Such a cool old timey shop and the nicest and most knowledgeable tobacconists I've ever run across.

Robusto and Briar just west of Cleveland in Lakewood. Large and varying selection of cigars combined with a ton of seating varying from private and quiet to areas perfect for smoking one with a dozen buddies watching a game.

The Cigar Shop, in Biloxi MS.. not only is it just about the closest to me, but they have a nice lounge, and the guy running it is quite knowledgeable. They're also the only TAA in MS. It's hard to walk out of there without something good!

One that has stood out was burnz in New Jersey. Not much of a humidor but the hospitality was incredible.

It’s a members club but you can also pay $10 for a day pass.

Cigar super store in valley stream Long Island.

Very very nice and helpful staff. Clean and well ventilated lounge and the most important part, the MOST stocked humidor on the island. Most stores on the island have only about 8-15 shelves/cabinets of cigars. Super store has about 25-30.

Perfecto Lounge in Roseville is a great local hang out. The one place I love traveling to and spending a day there is Fumare in Reno, love the lounge.

Boiling springs cigar in SC. Where I first met rev and got introduced to all you assholes. Also, great guys that run the place and they're always adding new stock. It's the only way I keep up with all the new fancy stuff that comes out.

The Hill Cigar Company in Saint Louis would get my vote. Good selection from value priced to super premium and a laid back owner operator to boot.

I have a huge JR cigar lounge/store like 15 minutes from where I live and that place is awesome. There's a local place a bit closer and I go there too, but I don't like staying and smoking a stick there as much.
