I saw SRV sometime between 83-84 at Constitution Hall in Washinton, D.C. not a bad seat in the arena but we had third row dead center. What an amazing show.

With all the pain and suffering in the world, I have decided that I can not listen to any more gangsta rap for a while. I need to focus my attention on positivity and spirituality, and be a part of the greater good. So, goodbye Freddie Gibbs, ScHoolboy Q etc etc etc, hello KRS-ONE and Attested Development etc etc etc.

David Bowie - April 27, 1983 - Serious Moonlight tour rehearsals, Dallas, TX with Stevie Ray Vaughan on guitar
Recently read that another reason why SRV left prior to the tour was Stevie’s cocaine addiction. Guess there’s always two sides to every story.
