Any other users finding the app not working today? I've been using it for the last few months, track what's in my humidoor and notes on sticks, favorites, and wish list. Was having a look to choose a medium smoke for this morning but appears all data is gone. Have tried closing and reopening app, iPad hard reboot, logging out and back in on app to no avail. First time I've had this problem. Any thoughts?

I read a while back Apple has gone “anti-tobacco” on the apps. But they’ll keep marijuana apps around.

Or maybe the app crashed or is down for maintenance??

Where did you read this? Source?
It was in Cigar Afficinado. Apple deleted their app from the App Store for finding cigar lounges. I’d have to try to find the issue again.

It works on my iPhone. The Cigar Monster App isn’t working anymore for me.

I believe the Cigar Monster app was one of the apps taken out of the App Store so that would make sense.

Sorry Chuck, I was driving. They beat me to it.

And that would explain why I haven’t seen the cigar monster deals either. I guess another app to delete.....

Ok i read the release..

Apple has their anti tobacco policy

"“We continue to find that your app promotes the use of tobacco or nicotine-related paraphernalia, including but not limited to cigars, cigarettes, pipes, hookahs, or e-cigarettes, which is not permitted on the App Store.""

Tobacco is addicting, and in a way they have to be fair with the Policy. They won't let the big cigarette companies have apps therefore its only fair to have a policy overall for all tobacco products.

The app however still works for androids. And if you have an iPhone, you can open your browser which is also an app and use their website which still has all the features associated with the app.

I hardly think this is something so be salty about, it makes sense and theres an easy way around it... browser app.

As for Cannabis, theres a lot of medical purposes for it so i can see why they would allow it. Someone with a chronic illness isn't going to be smoking cigars but I'm sure being able to find a medical dispensary near them is important.

Anyhow, use the browser and access the same information. Another fix would be to get an android if the app is that much more important.

The app continued to work on my iPhone, just not on my iPad. So I deleted the app from my iPad, then reloaded it. All my sync' data is still there, whew! I keep my humidoor on there, my favorites, my wish list and my tried but didn't like in notes...

So I have to give my iPhone back to the company I'm retiring from. Got an old hand-me-down iPhone from my kids and trying to load up my usual apps. Cigar Boss not coming up! I still have it on my iPad, but I also like it on my iPhone, synced with my iPad, so my wishlist is at hand when I go to a cigar shop. Dang it! I've been using this for a year have all my humidor sticks, favorites and notes on the app...

Anyone know how I can get it back on my new to me iPhone? I tried emailing the developer but it bounced back as inbox full.
