Montecristo Open Master

I know the Open line doesn't get much love, but I really enjoy the Master and Regatta.

Definitely a full. Considerably stronger than I remembered since I haven't had one in a fair while.

Very tasty and great smoke production

Perfect draw,burn and construction

A great cigar when you want something on the stronger side

Extremely tasty. Right in my preferred age range of 5 to 10 years.

Cold draw was nonexistent, and even after some work with my PerfecDraw and much larger Modus II, it was still very tight until the last third, so that was a little disappointing since you got little smoke volume to really get a good taste of it.

Burn and construction were perfect at least

Overall, would have been an outstanding cigar if it weren't for the draw problem.

Very tasty. One of only a very few cigars over 10 years aged that I have actually liked. Mild-medium, predominantly woody taste, with an underlying hint of that typical "aged" taste I get with well aged cigars, and a little spice on the finish in the second half.

Perfect draw,burn and construction

Overall, a very surprisingly good smoke for being 21 years old. Wish I was smoking cigars before these were discontinued to be able to compare them

One of my favorite cigars, rich full flavor with some sweetness! I have a friend that has always said when he smokes one "these have another 10 year yet" LOL I used to smoke these back in the early 2000s and they were so strong they would make you queasy

Having been very strong fresh explains why it was still flavorful after 21 years.

I have heard many people lamenting these being long discontinued. Seems like they were pretty popular in their day.
