• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    What holds a cigar together?

There's the aforementioned vegetable glue on the cap, but the rest is just sort of the nature of cigars. When you roll things tightly, they stay together. They are placed in molds which help them settle a bit better, but that's just it.

    Forbidden X cigars?

As with the Forbidden and Lost City (and limiteds in general), it's hard to say whether they are "worth" more as they are all subjective. There is a price that they should cost, for many it won't be worth it.

    Tatuaje "The Face"

Yepp. The Verite is so different for so many ways... But the use of Pelo de Oro and the single field combined with Pepin's alleged hesitancy to use PdO again make it much harder. Some tobacco on the limited is definitely harder because of various farms and what not. Few things are limited...

    Discout Humidors?

Discount Humidors or Cheap Humidors? The reality is that almost all of the humidors on the market are made by one of two companies, mainly Quality Importers. So if that's the route you are going, it's a matter of price and customer service.

Cant cut it straight...what am I doing wrong?

Some people move the cutter purposely as part of their cutting motion. The reason is to prevent any debris. I could care less if it's a perfect right angle, much more concerned with the cleanness of the cut and how much tobacco is going to get on my tongue. If I used a straight cut more often...

Does number of sticks in a wineador matter?

One suggestion would be to just put the humidor in the wine cooler as it will obviously take up quite a bit of space. The empty box suggestion is key as throwing fifty sticks in a wine cooler isn't going to work great. Condensation in the Edgestar is caused by a lot of things, one of the keys...
