BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Killed a biggin' like this outside yesterday. I've been meaning to get out this year for whitetail, but haven't got my poop in a group. I'm hoping that my 45-70 qulifies as a cowboy cartridge for Indiana, otherwise I'll have to go with shotgun or blackpowder.

La Lunas at Cigar King

Has anyone tried the La Luna's from cigar king? I really liked the old Luna's and am actually glad that Gael is still making cigars. Has anyone tried them?

I use a knife, water, and pectin. I have a mold for a 6 x 42, but if I want others I have to free roll them.

The way I learned how to roll a cigar was taking cheap ones apart and looking at the differnet constructs/rolls. It's easier to do a parejo than a figuardo but you get the techinique down after awhile. I'm working on my cap's now with a rounded piece of dowel and what's left of my wrapper.

Today's Smoke (2004-2022 Archive)

It's a great smoke. It's more of a cigar than meets the eye, it took me by surprise the first time I had one. Lots of zip & nice earthy undertones.
