• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Too much humidity?

Right on! I'm really glad that you were able to get somethings under better control. I really like the more robust flavor I get from my cigars when they are in the 60-65% range too. Maybe you'll have the same experience. Good luck with the progress!

BOTL.org is different from other cigar forums/boards in that we...

I think the most obvious difference is that the majority of all active posters know each other and the new guys are always welcomed into the fold. No matter how big BoTL gets, it will always be that way. We take of each other in a way that no other board does.

    A brief Truth in Cigars

It's impossible to sort a cigar by color into a new marca that has a unique flavor all of it's own. The industry would have collapsed by now if that were the case. I still think it's based off a generic bunch (maybe labeled X,XX,XXX) and then it would have to have it's proprietary binder/wrapper...

    LfD Oscuro A's

No, they are lumpy, blotched and irregular looking. I'm almost willing to bet that they are free rolled. I'll have to ask Litto someday.

    Damn Nightmare

Geez Aaron...that is a nightmare! It's Murphy's law that if someone breaks into the humidor, only the best of the best will be smoked. It does speak well for the Tat Black though...even people not in the know will pick it up.

    A brief Truth in Cigars

I'm not entirely sure of Pete's mindest or what exactly he was talking about, but I do think that he was refering more towards the blue collar vitolas and not the flagship lines of each respective marca. Each cigar would have a generic filler blend and then wrapped up with a specific leaf to...
