BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

What are your daily smokes?
A couple great ones you can get for under $5 online are the Fuente Short Story, and the Oliva Serie V lanceros. But, like the other guys said, almost anything Tat, Pepin or Liga are good, especially when you find them under $5. Again, remember taste is subjective, so try a few of each to find... -

Do 67% beads exist?
Dr. Xikar, that was my first thought, and how I originally had them. But then, I figured with the opening and closing of the lid/ escaping humidity, that it would be quicker recovery w/ the 70% on top. I don't know what I'm doing though, the whole thing was a mistake. My 65% weren't keeping up... -

FWIW, I have 65% HF beads in the bottom of my humi, and 70% in the top. RH sits around 66-68%. -

Not trying to be a sensationalist. This is just my first beetle, and on a cigar I love, so it was very upsetting. Yes, I spent a good amount of time checking my entire collection, everything else was in order. The only other problem was the cigar on top of this one had a small hole in the cello... -

Broke the seal on my BOTL sticks a couple weeks ago to send some out, then let them sit to rest. Opened the box again yesterday to smoke one, and I found a big 'ol nasty beetle hole in a stick on the bottom row! Sonofabitch! I checked the rest of them, and they looked ok, but it did buy the box...
