• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

OK, and if LO has the size you want, and you like plastic, then that's a great choice. But if you want a 44 RG, or anything less than a 50, they don't have it...

I'm hoping to find some marshmallow character in this blend. :cigar: I ordered from LO at the same time as WLT for some wrappers. The email came in yesterday saying it should be delivered by Mon, 10/3. I'm excited to see how it comes out!

I've got some butcher block oil that I think maybe just mineral oil, I will double check against that for a comparison. This set up you mentioned, what did you do?

As in filler, binder, and wrapper leaves? Good idea, then maybe de-vein if needed at the same time.

I'm not sure about mineral oil. This reminded me of long term gun storage old waxy grease, or grease smell that was old and waxy in your suspension, without the iron. It didn't feel greasey, maybe it was oiled before shipping. Is that what you're thinking Marc?

Finally pulled the trigger on a 44x6.25 from WLT. Looks awesome but I'm curious...are the supposed to smell like a machine grease?

    Blending Thread

So I always hit the drive through on the way home to get a large ice tea for the ride. As always, I fired up a stogie at work for the ride. Today, the lady at the drive through spun around and leaned out to say "That's a gooood smelling cigar you got today!" Of course it's a homeroll from May...

Filler center vein... leave in or remove?

Maybe we can regulate the strength by varying the amount of mid-rib we leave in there...or which leaf mid-rib we leave in. In example, the ligero mid rib vs the seco, I'm guessing it would change the effective strength of the stogie.

    Tuck cutter ????

My solution has been to not cut the end...just leave it as it comes out. Lights up easy and still works, for me.

A mild flavored homeroll from April. Half way thru and the nicotine started to make my head swim, not used to being up all night yet. Guess I should've eaten something first ;)
