Never had an Aristocrat. Short is a great stick. If you're set on Partagas, try the Mille Fleurs; bold taste, in your price range, mellows nice with age.

From the pictures I've seen, Aristocrat is the way I would go for a cabinet. Their inside finishing is leaps and bounds above what I've seen Avallo offer.

Go with option #1 but might add that it's either time to start thinking about thinking about an Avallo or Aristocrat soon if you plan on buying more.

I would argue that the cooler and the Nibo do not do the same job, or do the job as well, as the Aristocrat or the DuPont. Now, a porcelain ashtray? Porcelain is porcelain to me.

Congrats bro... I have natural Cherry on my Aristocrat as well and it does darken over time. Be sure to not put anything on the top of it, FYI.

sogon, have you tried the Shorts? The price is only slightly higher and you will you give up about 1" in length compared to the Aristocrat. Shorts are superb.
