BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Humidification Beads
Shouldn't the criteria be....best quality of the media for it's intended usage? The "cheapest" tends to make me a little nervous when making informed decisions...kind of like saying what is the cheapest meat to eat...Ribeye or squirrel meat? -
Natural or Maduro
We as hobbyists are people who choose what we like. I love Maduros because they offer a sweeter balance and the wrappers are a bit stronger....Naturals tend to be a bit more brittle and not as sweet so as with so many things it comes down to individual tastes. Try one Maduro...or 2 and judge... -
Which CC do you have 5 boxes of?
Espys...Siglo IV....Lusitania's and Monte 2s....from 2 -18 years old. Yes, I built alters for them to worship them and play chior music in the background...it's very religious. -

Might as well debate Coke or Pepsi. Cigars, steaks etc, is subjective at best...I know people who hate Opus and Cohiba Espys...that's just insanity but they'll still try to convince others it's true. Might as well try and convince me that if I can flap my arms fast enough that I could fly. -

How is this scientifically possible in a humidor?
I'll go ahead and say it....those sizes of humidors are usually cheap and won't keep RH where they need to be....esp. those sizes. They are from China or some other place where they use cheap plywood with veneers to look like they are quality. Tupperware blows them away at a price of $10 for a... -

Be prepared to get a little woody with your next bottle of bourbon
Will have to try this at some point...infusing is an art form and it's not like mixing chocolate into milk. There needs to be a practical and proven process that isn't gimmicky which can backfire....like the Jim Beam Honey....which tasted like ass in a glass. Seems that they thought they could... -
