• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Smoking warning in new Churchill movie

No rant intended, all I had was a reaction to observing the disclaimer in the movie. Yes, I was surprised to see what was very similar to the Surgion General tobacco warning on a movie that wasn’t about tobacco. Then I read that others reacted the same as me. Apparently, a movie rating of...

    What did you shoot today?

I used to do technology consulting on my own. The work always came in waves so when I was in-between gigs I worked at my local gun shop. Everything I purchased was through a pro-plan. Many of the manufacturers have pro-plans so workers in a gun shop can purchase at lower prices and have first...

    Remote Humidor Monitoring

This week I decided to check out if there was a difference in my humidor’s RH between measuring on the underside of the top lid and measurements at the bottom. I was curious and have heard several theories so I thought I would check it out. I have a 150 stick humi from Waxing Moon. It’s not...

I put in some trigger time with my Springfield EMP in 9mm. I love the way it shoots and the crisp SA trigger. I shoot a variety of factory ammo for practice, homemade custom reloads for competition and Federal Hydrashock for carry. I have never had a misfire with any type of ammo.
