  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Agreed, it's really cool. I believe Pete is using it as pre-release band, he used it on the FT114 also... The Avion 12 will have the same band as the Avion 11. I'm not 100% sure but I believe you can get the Avion 12 pre-release band in this sampler from Holts...

    They don't make a bad cigar. My favorite thing is that Dion is willing to steadily release candelas which are off-the-wall for smokers until they find out that candelas were common place decades ago. I love the MK line.

    I've been saying it for a while, Pepin and Pete Sumatras are some of the best cigars on the market. Even the Ambos Mundos Sumatra is ridiculously good.

    The real question here is what's the next fad? At one point perfectos were the norm, at another candelas were the norm. Now it's bigger, stronger cigars... what's next? The only thing that I've seemed to notice is that the "fads" seem to take a long time to change over, seems like a couple/few...

    Noooo, smoke what you like! I prefer smaller rg cigars but there are some cigars that smoke well in larger rg-es, it all depends on the blend. I would suggest you try out some more smaller rg cigars. I personally find that they tend to be more flavorful.

    Viaje has taken the LE thing too far, imo. It seems like they're going downhill in the flavor department too. Personally, I'd like to see more PC, Corona and Corona grande cigars...and more perfectos. Perfectos were all the rage 100 years ago, why not now? I'd also like to see more Sumatra...

    If I was smoking a CC that was new, I wouldn't TOUCH Bolivar, Cohiba or Partagas...and I love those brands. The best, younger CCs(in my opinion) are made by Ramon Allones and Por Larranaga.

    I hear you there! Diesels are great for the money, especially if you can let them rest for a few months. Since these are soo limited, they might have already been rested for you just by the nature of how they've been made available. If you buy something like an Unholy Cocktail I'd recommend not...
