    The Official Cigar Deals Thread

Yeah, I guess I was a little excited. It's not everywhere you see full boxes of sharks though. It's above my pay grade, but I just wanted to let the brothers know in case someone was looking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Lighting Closed Feets

Usually light em the same way as an open-foot cigar. I do enjoy them because I find that they get rid of any initial scorched tobacco taste when lighting with a butane lighter. Could be just me though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Sticks drying out even at 72%?

I would think that wiping a few spots from a wrapper which was once infected wouldn't remove 100% of the mold. No? If yes, then anyone who has done that has smoked the white mold. Why is it bad to smoke white...

Sticks drying out even at 72%?

Question (now that the main topic has been resolved here): If there is white mold (aka harmless mold) on the foot of a stick, why is that cigar unacceptable for smoking and a stick which has white mold wiped from its wrapper all good to smoke? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Sorry to drudge up an old thread- but a recent issue of cigar journal magazine has a great article in it about mold and plume and cigar storage. It's an awesome issue if you can find it- tons of useful info (has AJ Fernandez on the front). Anyway, there is an article called "Store in a cool...

Pretty good! It was a full strength stick that had a good amount of spice (smooth Honduran style- not like my father sticks), seemed to perform well, etc. I think that my only hitch was that flavor could have been a little more intense to balance strength. But certainly a good fuller strength...
