I've been having this same issue. I use 65% beads but lately I've been fighting to keep it above 60 generally it wants to run about 57-58%. I was thinking of trying some KL, do you just spray it with DW like the beads?

Yes I retrohale and that helps. I smoke about 2-3 cigars a week so I kind of doubt that's the issue. I really think it's my nose that isn't working that well, had a crash a couple of years ago and ever sense my sense of smell isn't quite what it used to be.

What did you find that you liked? I have trouble with the mild smokes can't taste anything.

I made one a lot like these out of a Harley handlebar cut to shape and welded some ball bearings on it as stands. Works great keep it on the BBQ table fits right in.
