    Most Improved Cigar?

What CC used to disappoint you & is now impressive? For me it's the RyJ Churchill. Those that I've smoked, starting with a box of 2004s, were generally pretty bland, but a couple singles from 2012 were strong & loaded with flavor. Impressed me enough to buy a box of 15.

Friend got some glass top Cohibas.

I bought a box of 10 Glass top Espies in St. Lucia. Guy wanted $50 & I wound up paying $30. For display purposes only. Actually kinda cool. :rolling:

    Montecristo Especial No. 2

Nice review. My 2013s are far from mild. Strong & IMHO better than the 2013 MC#2s.

What Cuban cigar had the best flavor profile for you?

RA CFs are a good deal. Good strength & flavor & reasonably priced for a RE. I picked up 3 boxes when released. Liked them fresh & smoking great now. A stronger cigar, but that's the kind of cigar I like.

    Show/List your latest CC Purchase

Those Escepcions are great! One of the few expensive cigars worth the extra money- IMHO. :peace: No pictures, but have been impressed with the 2013 MC Especiale #2s. Just ordered a second box. Stronger than the regular 1s through 5s.

    Just back from the motherland

Glad you enjoyed Cuba. Hope you got out into the countryside & didn't just stay at the resort. If you like "bolder flavor", try a couple Bolivar Petite Coronas.

    Help decided please

You might like RyJ Mille Fleurs. No cooca, but nice spice & usually under $100 a box.Pretty much the same size as MC#4.

    More Cheap Cubans

At least when I bought them. Opened the first of my 2011 cabs (that's the year- not how many I have):hammersmaWonderful cigar. Strong full flavor & earthy- as a good Bolivar should be. Were around $200 in 2011 & I went large. My go to cigar.

When will Jan 2014 be available?

If you have a good relationship with a vendor e-mail him & ask to be notified when something with that code comes in. Some vendors have monthly box code lists you can get on request.

Has anyone had the Atabey and the Behike?

Since I don't like wide cigars, I'll pass on both. The Cohiba Corona Especiale is good enough for me.:peace:

    Punch Brand

Never a big Punch fan. Only have the D'oro UK Piramide. Like them because they are very different from most other Punch cigars I've had. Even 98 SS#2s didn't do it for me. Traded them away.

    Rash of PM's from noobs?

None here- maybe since I hadn't posted in a while until yesterday. For the noobs, do a search. There are sites that rate vendors.

    Nice Cheap Cubans

Hi guys. December was pretty crazy & I haven't been on the boards much, but I wanted to give a big thumbs up to the 2012 & 2013 RyJ Mille Fleurs. Excellent, full flavored & inexpensive PC sized cigars. In fact, these are MUCH better than my more expensive 2006 RyJ PCs.

What Cuban cigar had the best flavor profile for you?

Just had a fresh RyJ Mille Fleur. Surprisingly good for an inexpensive PC sized cigar.

LOL sticks show up after a YEAR

The cigars are in pretty good shape for that length of time. A bit dry but not crackling. Still smell very nice. Contacted the vendor & he suggested putting them in the humi for a couple months & then trying one. And, no charge for the box. He was happy I had the honesty to contact him.

LOL sticks show up after a YEAR

Well, well, well. A box from 2008 arrived today. Cigars are a bit dry! :argh:

What Cuban cigar had the best flavor profile for you?

Current production would be Bolivar PCs and RyJ Cazadore. No longer made? 2002 Partagas Lonsdales.

    La Escepcion Selectos Finos Jars?

Pricey for 30 cigars when a box of 25 is $500. IMHO, a very expensive jar. I have enough "stuff" laying around here so I'll just enjoy the cigars.

    Bolivar Coronas Juniors ?

I can understand a difference in people's tastes, but I've always found BPCs to be quite earthy. I've had every year since 2002. IMHO, 02, 09 & 11 the best. Haven't opened 12 or 13 yet.
