i've forced myself to keep a small humidor and only buy singles to try to keep my spending at bay. I've already ended up overflowing into a tupperdor and both it and the humidor are packed solid. There's no way I could work in a cigar shop either - I'd be working at a net loss!

Cool, the Flor de las Antillas Toro (CA #1) has been high on my todo list, so this gives me a great reason to try it out. MUWAT baitfish keeps coming up around here too so while I hate the name, I'm thinking I might have to try one.

Okay, good to know - lesson learned - stay away from the wind if you want to enjoy a cigar. I also had some humidor issues which I've resolved so that probably played a role in this as well.

Update - Three days after baptizing in water my humidor to recondition it and sealing the crap out of the glass lid and cheap ass gauge, things are looking pretty good. Naturally I had a bit too much humidity at first so I put in my dehydrated Boveda's that were on their last 20% and...

Yes, I did - despite reading others who said the same thing. I figured that this humidor was going to be retired anyway so why not make one last ditch desperate effort to get it working. So far it seems no harm was done there as the lid seal still seems tighter than a nun's <bleep/>.
