A few days back I picked up my first torpedo mold. It’s made from wood, nice but to fragile. That’s why I prefere plastics ones. Opening is a pain in the ass. I think I can find out the bunching part, but have no clue for the wrapping. Are here Some video out covering this ? Bliss ?? Thanks !

Unfortunately I had to stop my project. The humidifier has a proximity sensitive switch and I can no by pass it to control it with my humidity controller. Unless I find an electronic repair shop which can help me out, there is no other way hen buying a humidifier with a mechanical switch. This...

This is the hardware inside. The ventilator is coupled on the heat controller. The humidifier has his own control. By placing the humidifier after the fan the mist is sucked in the fan and nicely diffused.

Today I finished the hardware of my fermentation chamber. I installed a humidity controller and a small ultrasonic humidifier and did some test runs. Seems to work fine ! I'll keep the temperature just above 50 C (or 120 F) and humidity around 80- 85. Misted 2 lbs of viso and 2 lbs ligero...

And I thought I had a collection of molds !!

Amazing Vanerpaddel ! I wish I had the time to grow my own tobacco and control the whole process. Next week I'll start with second fermenting binder and wrapper leave. I also have some filler with still a bit of raisin smell. Also these will be more fermented. All the better cigar factories in...
