    Worst ever?

Overall, I'm amazed by how many different cigars Ive enjoyed. Several were named in this thread. My son got married in Jamaica this past February. I bought some Pride of Jamaicas. Terrible. A harsh tarry taste that lingered for weeks. I still have 2 in my humi and will light one up when and if...

    How Touchy are You?

Interesting. I've always only attempted repairs if the cigar looks f'ed up to my eye. As I think about it, "f'ed up" pretty much occurs at the 1/2 inch discrepancy mark that has been noted by many in this thread. As for tunneling, tunneling is evil incarnate.

    La Historia by EP Carrillo

I wasn't sure naming specific purveyors was allowed, but I've since seen some mentioned by name. The sampler's available at Mike's Cigars.

    La Historia by EP Carrillo

Nice review. I've had 5 of the Carrillos via samplers and have loved all of them, putting Carrillo in my top 3 brands (with La Gloria and Punch). However, I've yet to try the La Historia mainly because my main online vendors don't include them in any of their samplers. Just yesterday I...

    Gurka

HaHa, this forum's view of Gurkha's is no different than others I've read. I've smoked one Gurkha, a Beauty that came in a Connecticut sampler. I liked it, though not as much as several of the others in the sampler (e.g., Casa Torano and Alec Bradley were my favorites). However, when I later...

MUWAT Fire Cured - new vs. aged

I love the smell of grilling meat, particularly with some hickory thrown in so I was intrigued with the MUWAT fire cured. Stopped by a B&M and paid 9 bucks for one. It was kinda weird, but I liked it as a novelty smoke. Bought 10 online at 4 bucks per and have smoked one of these. Definitely...

    Old guy/New cigar smoker

Thanks to you and the other welcome messagers. I've greatly enjoyed the Unholy Cocktails I've had and still have a couple in the humi. Right now however, I'm on the back porch "sippin" on a Punch Gran Cru Pyramide...very nice. I'm thinkin' it's a 2-stick day. May have to flip a coin between the...

    Old guy/New cigar smoker

Hi guys. Cigarette smoker for 40 years. Quit in 2012. After I quit, I suspected I might end up as a cigar smoker, but stayed off 'em for a couple years for safety sake. Started having a cigar on the golf course last year and this year I've gotten a bit more serious about it, with a couple...
