Saw this on Craigslist, is it worth the $50

Made in China, i doubt its 20 years old. Looks like your typical 100 count humidors that retail for 50-120 dollars online. As long as it doesn't have any damage, 50 dollars is a fair price for that type of humidor.

Found this picture from a few weeks ago when Famous was running an Oliva promotion. The Georges Reserve Robusto is a surprisingly nice mildish cigar. Its somewhat comparable to a cross between the Oliva G-series Toro and the Oliva Connecticut reserve.

[Experiment] Infused cigars stored with traditional cigars

I'm calling bs that you have a "ruined" tower and cigars. Its sad that you can't even bother to google "cellophane" because if you did you'd realize that it so widespread in the cigar industry because it is permeable to water vapor (humidity) but not so much to oils, grease, air, etc. It...

[Experiment] Infused cigars stored with traditional cigars

That's nonsensical since if you had plastic wrap (aka cellophane) around your peas they wouldn't mix with the mashed potatoes. The whole infused cigars will ruin your stash is basically fear-mongering. Cellophane is an amazing substance and really does segregate flavors. Imho, the whole whoopla...

    Ring gauge and flavor

*This is more of a rant than just an opinion on ring gauge and flavor. Small ring gauge cigars have their charms but i flat out will not purchase any lancero. Too many construction issues... Its the same with torpedoes, i love them but won't be buying any more (unless they are box pressed)...

[Experiment] Infused cigars stored with traditional cigars

In my experience, certain flavored cigars will transfer a very light aroma/taste to short filler cigars but only after about 6+ months and it has to be in a small air tight container. Larger long filler cigars the transfer seems to be almost nil when you keep everything in cellophane. I bought...

Famous was running a special on their Jar cigars and i couldn't resist. I ended up buying the Seven Deadly Sins W Jar, the Dark Ages Iron Throne Jar, and tossed in a 5 pack of Punch Elites to get the Monster free shipping on the entire order. I have a problem ordering the Jar Cigars from famous...

I got these from Famous about a week and a half ago. Famous was practically giving them away at about 38 dollars for the Escogidos and 40 dollars for the Swag S Maduro. I normally would never buy a 4 1/2" x 50 shorty or a giant mofo 7 7/8" x 63 cigar but for those prices who could resist. The...

Shrouded Crown Maduro in Robusto (5 x 54)

It taste and performs like a typical PDR. Its well constructed, smooth, with a good balance of flavors and strength. Its a budget friendly smoke so don't expect a life changing performance. So far, i find that they are easily worth the MSRP. Just be aware that, in my experience, the flavors...

Shrouded Crown Maduro in Robusto (5 x 54)

This was a affordable deal, back in April, that i couldn't pass up considering it had a nice add on of a PDR 8 Cigar sampler plus a PDR Branded Ashtray. For basically 54 bucks after an email discount, I didn't see how i could lose. 28 Cigars and an Ashtray was just too good of a deal to pass up...

    Your Favorite Cigar Size

Boxed pressed Belicoso/Torpedos are my favorite but i mostly buy Toros or Robustos due to the price/time considerations. I like to smoke for 60-75 minutes so slightly longer or Chunky Robustos (5" - 5 1/2" x 52-56 ring gauge) tends to win out with Toros being secondary. I unfortunately only buy...
