Yep, I see that a lot. There are LOTS of people who love those cigars but honestly, I've tried and tried but I just can't stand them. To me they're kind of flat and tasteless. I'm a huge fan of the RA "profile" as well as a huge fan of SCs and pretty much don't like any sizes of Partagas.

I really dislike these. I would highly recommend that you try an SC El Principe or a RASCC. Same size and a much better smoke IMO.

All a matter of personal taste. A while back I too used to say these were overrated and not worth the money but I've changed my mind completely. They are different from Cuban cigars and high end Padrons but I think that comparing them straight up with one another is like comparing apples and...

I used to smoke them quite a bit. The more I smoked them, the more I hated them. They all pretty much taste the same which is lousy. I would not recommend them.

geoffrie, you ever been to the Morton's in NY? I heard they're supposed to be fantastic. There's one midtown on 5th ave (near 45th street). There's also one in Great Neck and another in White Plains.

I've gone through a few cabs of these over the years. My latest is RAC MAR 03 and they're probably the best yet. The one before that was LUL ENE 03 (That's "January" to you Spanish impaired folks:laugh: ). Those smoked fine too.
