Cigars People Would Be Surprised that You Enjoy

Is a yard gar a step up from a dog rocket? Some of the cigars you guys refer to as Yard Gars I would consider expensive.

    LFD La Nox

I just smoked my first LFD La Nox! Its the most expensive cigar I've smoked to date. I seriously thought that aficionados were full of it when describing cigar flavors as with the cheap cigars I normally smoke they all taste about the same to me, but this La Nox definitely changed my outlook...

    Cheap stick Monday

Quorum was a good smoke for the price but my go to cheap stick is usually the Flor De Oliva, its quite tasty for a $2 stick. I bought a box of Don Rafael Maduros but they were a quite harsh. Ofc I still smoked them all!

    Peppery / Spicey taste

No, I've been using a guilotine type cutter. I'm starting to think that what tastes like pepper to me is simply bitterness caused by smoking too fast.

    Retrohaling Cheap Cigars

I see, I assumed it was the large stems because when I rolled my own I removed the spine of the leaf and didn't get any sinus burn

    Retrohaling Cheap Cigars

When I retrohale a premium cigar it makes the experience far better but when I retrohale a cheap everyday cigar it ruins the entire smoking experience. I cut one of these Don Rafael Maduro's open and I noticed there were a lot of stems inside. Could this be what's causing this abrasive sinus...

    Peppery / Spicey taste

Hmmmm interesting points, I will read some reviews and see if I can pick out the differentiating flavors. I do not notice any jitters, but you may be right about the nicotine because some of the high nicotine vape juices I've tried did have a certain intensity to them that is similar! Thanks

    Peppery / Spicey taste

The last cigar I smoked that I noticed the taste on was a Don Rafael which I think is Dominican, I enjoy the spiciness I just wondered if that was common.

    Peppery / Spicey taste

Is it typical to get a slightly spicy or peppery taste when you get down to the last third of the cigar? I'm assuming this has nothing to do with the blend of the tobacco because it seems to happen regardless of which cigar Im smoking. Is it simply because all of the tobacco in the head of the...

    Cigar conundrum

Thank You for this reply! I was just about to ask about the hygrometer test because the salt test did not seem like it was working, after 3 hours with damp salt in the zip loc my hygrometer read 65 but after 8 hours it read 50 ugh. I bought the humi care black ice pie jars, if I put them in the...

    Cigar conundrum

Hey folks, I received my first humidor today, everything looks great. Im doing the salt test on the hygrometer and I put a shot glass of DW in the bottom of the humi, I foolishly ordered cigars at the same time and don't have anywhere to put them til the humi becomes seasoned! Should I just...
