Yours are nice for sure. My redneck version took an hour to make ten with a chop saw and angle grinder. They still need some cleanup and are just 1" wide strap. When they're done I'll ship em out to whomever wants em. I just wanted to make them.

My apologies. A quick search revealed this has been asked numerous times. My mistake for cluttering it up in here.

I'd like to have a stick to keep on hand for when I don't have an hour or so to smoke. I was pretty happy with the Monte cristo 444 but can't seem to find any. What's something similar in smoke time?

Similar update here except my excuse for no shop time this weekend has been a sick kid. The wife did promise me a few hours tomorrow evening so we'll see what I can get done.

Don't know why I didn't think about the plexiglass, I even have some laying around. I'll also see if the local tobacco barn has any to sell. They are ghetto but maybe I'll get lucky.

It would be painted and being in East Texas it's almost as humid outside the humidor as it is inside it. Lol. Are there concerns with the paint contacting the cigars?

How bad would it be to make some metal dividers for my humidor? I don't have Spanish cedar available local, I have scrap steel I can use and I'm cheap. The dividers would be painted and cured before use. Still a bad idea?

Tried my hand making one today with some scrap 1/8" thick strip I had laying around. I need to make it about 1/2" taller above the joint and clean the edges up some more but I'd say not too bad for less than a half hour of work. Using the strip steel it'd be super easy to make a quick jig and...

The ring would be easily removed should someone not want it. At least I assume so.

If my angle grinder hadn't died last weekend I could possibly make a boatload of these in just a few hours time. May just have to grab a cheapo grinder to test the theory. And the split ring idea only makes it more genius.

I tried mead at the local renn fest. It wasn't my cup of tea but I've wanted to try some more to see if it's my palate or the mead.
