I also found the draw to be a tad tight but I did use a punch rather that a cutter. I also smoked it before I had my Perfect Draw so next time I will cut rather than punch and hav my Perfect Draw handy.

    Mold?

Thanks for the input Alt. My RH usually goes between 63-67% and will occasionally go up to 69% but not very often. We have had some very high temps here and they are reeking havoc with my NewAilr, coupled with my wife changing the house temp from 70-74.

    Mold?

Just to follow up on this today I went through all my cigars one by one. I removed all cedar from any cigars wrapped in it and I rearranged the draws and boxes to promote better air flow.

    Mold?

Yes actually they were side by side. I’m not sure if this is a factor but theses were both part of a bomb I received and the bomber estimated that they had around 10 years on them.

    Mold?

I’m using Heartfelt 65% humidity tubes and Boveda packs in the drawers. The hydros were calibrated just a couple of weeks ago. I check them monthly.

    Mold?

We did have a brief period when when out A/C went out and the temp did run a bit high but it was a bit of a struggle. Currently the temp in the house is 70F and the temp in the NewAir is 65F

    Mold?

Hey guys. I just found this on a couple of my sticks. Is this mold? I store my cigars in a NewAir CC300 and keep the RH between 64-69%.

    Humidity Problems

Yeah mine has been rock solid as well till we started having trouble with our A/C. It’s probably going to need to be replaced. Thanks for the input.

    Humidity Problems

Hey thanks Ape. I’m not in and out of it much, maybe 2-3 times a week and haven’t been for the past week and a half as I’d been away. I haven’t added anything new in a while (tear in eye). It’s my understanding that raising the temp will lower RH but I’ll try it. I actually am rechecking the...

    Humidity Problems

Hey guys. I need some advice. I have a Newair 300 and have 3 calibrated hygrometers in it. Usually the humidity stays right at 65% +/- 2% with Heartfelt 65% tubes. We are having issues with our air conditioner (will probably need to replace it) so the house temp is higher than normal 78-79F...

    Your home smoking area.

Hey guys. Sorry I haven’t been around much. We’ve had a lot going on in the family and undergoing the construction of our new deck, outdoor kitchen (still in development), and a new smoking area my wonderful wife surprised me with.
