    Letter from cbid?

I have to believe that cbid has to charge and pay these taxes based on their income and that they are not following the new laws*. Of course the OP could be from an unaffected state. The recent stuff you're seeing online has to do with an overturned case last year and in something like 20...

    Letter from cbid?

If I remember correctly it's not all States (yet) but all the big boys will have to collect as it's based on volume of sales. Sorry, I looked into this a while ago when Ebay started charging some states tax (non-tobacco too btw) but I can't find my references. I also had noticed this from one...

Is this the cigar smokers fault?

These are great and hold humidity almost with nothing but the cigars. Only thing is with this size you have to buy 6 but you know you'll need them eventually. Lol, still about the same price as the OP's noted single container...

    How Low Would You Go?

I would really reconsider or at the very least raise that tray. When I used my similar Whynters there was a decent amount of moisture on the bottom.

    How Low Would You Go?

Don't those have an internal fan? That should be working pretty well with the light load in there now.

    How Low Would You Go?

I think you are fine. Truth is there are often two scales quoted and one of them goes from 60-70%. Different cigars actually respond differently I find (as do others) to humidity and some like a relatively dryer humidity. For me lately I've actually been lowering my overall humidity and I...

    In search of Jim Pendergast!

Not my actual unit which is darker and richer but here's the model in question for those interested. As close to a walk-in as I’m ever likely to have.

    In search of Jim Pendergast!

I was lucky enough to inherit a CA3668 Pendergast humidor! It's beautiful as it sits with and African Mahogony (I think) exterior. Needs a little TLC and Macgyvering. I saw another old thread where Mr. Pendergast had answered some questions for someone here offline and as it was told he...

    Rehydrating Bovedas

I know this is an old thread but I'm new so it's new to me! I looked and didn't see this method, excuse me if I missed it. I've tried the in water recharge but I didn't like how long the exterior took to dry. I've tried the separate water in a container method too, too long. What I do...

Lurking for years...enough with the creepiness!

Lol and thanks everyone for the nice welcome. Smoked a delicious Don Carlos Shark and a Fuente Rosado 56 (also delicious). It's actual rare that I get in 2 and I see so many out there doing 5-6 a day. I'll save my Backwoods for other smoking.

Seemed like time to register Thanks for all of the information I've received over the years, hoping I can contribute a bit or two somewhere.
