You can use anything to cut a cap. A pipe fitting, marker cap, small flash light literally anything that’s small and round could be used to cut a cap. Look around the house to see what you have.

Same here. The sample I received was thick and veiny but stretched well and was fine after some time in a mold. The pound I bought was another story. Had a lot tear on me and hardly any stretch. Haven’t had much luck with binder from WLT lately. The regular Dom I got last time was full of holes...

Haven’t had one of those in a while it’s def a good cigar. Wish Ortega was still having those made. Not sure what happened to him but he put out some really good cigars a few years back and then disappeared. The serie d maduro is one of my favorite cigars ever. Such a great stick

Steve Saka made a post a few years ago about aging cigars long term. I’ll look around and find it. It was a long, detailed post full of great info. It may have been on this forum but I’m not 100% sure. He posted all over diff forums years ago and has a lot of great stuff out there.

I wouldn’t shrink wrap them to age. They need the oxygen to ferment and release ammonia. It really wouldn’t “age” them at all if you shrink wrap them. People store full boxes still wrapped in cello myself included but the cello on a new box of cigars breathes just like the cello on a single stick.

Those original red labels made by pepin were great. It was always a toss up between the red and the blue for me. But that red was a special cigar

Too bad he can’t find a few boxes he lost in a warehouse. Those cigars were the bees knees. Maybe he can give Caldwell a call and ask him to help him look. He’s good at finding lost cigars.

Cigarfed and Ezra Zion are the worst at doing this. I was a fan of EZ when they had their 3 or 4 main marcas like the FHK and Tantrum. That original Tantrum is still one of the best cigars I’ve ever had but when they started all this limited edition shit it really turned me off.
