Malty beers are good with cigars. Hoppy ones aren't. The chart shown above is very helpful, but many craft brewers don't follow the rules. RIS (Russian Imperial Stouts) mostly go very well with cigars actually. But there are always some that have a higher IBU than others. Belgian ales...

For the most part yes. The get the pumpkin syrup in a few weeks and then it will expire in March. Then no more until sept again. Trust me, If I could have this year round i would. This stuff is like crack. :) Sent from my magical device

lusis = good as far as aging and vintages - i can't remember all of that stuff so i just wait five years from the box date and am never disappointed. :)

Yeah, it's pretty much Dona Flor and Alonzo Menedez for other Brazilian puros. Both always seemed way underfilled to me.

Honestly, dark beers are really the only thing that pairs well with cigars. The key is you have to have a heavy malt forward profile. Too much hops will impart a bitterness on the cigar that no one wants. RIS, barrel-aged stouts, milk stouts, chocolate stouts seem to work best for me.

Don't forget all of the Libertys with their pre-embargo tobacco... :)
