I like my 1911 as well. I dont know if they are in the same class, but not much is in the same class with a true 1911. I like the way the XD feels and shoots. At the end of the day that makes the decision easy for me. If I am going to conceal carry I am going to carry my .38 special...

I was at the Taj a few weeks ago and could smoke at the table. Some old guy bitched, but there was an ashtray there before I sat down. Some tables are non smoking, just look at the betting sign and it will let you know if you can smoke or not. Have fun.

I agree 100%, I have no issue with them placing my gun outside the car. There is too much crap around for them not to be overly cautious.

I had one of the air neutralizers for my car for awhile about 5 years ago, it made everything smell "fresh" as they said but it just smelled odd to me. I now just do what was mentioned above and feel that it works better in the long run. Doing the above and adding a little febreze every now...
