Oliva series G and V...is it just me?

I've smoked the Oliva Special G several times and I enjoy it. I have a churchill Serie G in the humi resting. Different smokes for different folks. Oliva blends may just not be for you.

I've always been fascinated with the history of Ybor City. These past few weeks, I've been doing some research on Ybor's cigar factories. Today, I posted the first in a series of articles that talk about the factory buildings that are still in existence. Here is the link to the main index page...

    If you were me....

Anejo's are great cigars and they usually make it out to the shops a couple of times a year. El Baton and Brick House are relatively new and are worth a try if you can find them.

Got my card! Officially a CRA member

As a Lifetime NRA member, I understand the need for unity. Congratulations to you for becoming a fellow CRA member. I received a Punch and a Litto Gomez. I'm letting them rest in the humi for awhile.

    The "1 left..." Factor!

I may hold off on smoking a cigar for a special occasion such as an anniversary, birthday, etc. Just because I have one left does not stop me from smoking it. I side with the "cigars were made to be smoked" group.

    Best quality smoke?

I have to agree that the Padron line cannot be beat on price. I also think the new Brick House line will be an awesome smoke with age. I realize the Brick House are hard to get at the moment. At $5 - $6 a stick, they are an excellent value.

    La Aroma Da Cuba

I think the original blend was made in Honduras by ALTADIS' Flor de Copan S.A factory.
