Frank passed away last night. I got to meet him a few times in KC at Outlaw for various shows and had the privilege of going to his house for his Octoberfest bashes a couple of times. Frank was a good guy that would do anything for anybody and will be missed. I did see a reference on Facebook...

So who all is thinking of coming to this? I work at a cigar shop in Topeka and we are having an Alec Bradley event that day so I don't know if I'm going to be able to be there.

My local B&M got a box in on Friday. They have em priced at $19 a piece which is more than I like to spend on a stogie but I splurged and bought one... nice smoke.

Cain F Robustos and Man O' War's. I wish I could say it was LP No. 9's but alas my budget doesn't allow too many of them at this time :eyebrow:

I smoked one at an Ashton event at my local B&M last week. I liked it but I actually like the regular Mi Amor better. That being said I have one more that I am going to age for a while and see what happens. We were only allowed to buy two.

I ended up ordering 3 more of the 'F' Robusto bundles. They are only a couple of bucks more than they were while on special. Just a hair over $2 a stick with shipping. 45 sticks for $91... heck yeah!!

Smoked one of the 'F' Robustos today. Very good and even though it's a 2nd the one I smoked looked as good or better than the Cain F's I had in the humi. It smoked perfect too :thumbsup:

I ordered a bundle of 'D' Coronas and 'F' Robustos. They should be in on Thursday and if they are still available after that I will be getting more if they are indeed Cains.

I have a cabinet that a little bigger than yours (but not much) that is build by the same manufacturer. I did not try just beads so can't comment on it but for a cabinet this size I would recommend active humidification. I went with an Aristocrat set and forget system and haven't regretted the...
