Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
Great find... what did you pay if you dont mind me asking?Cool story there.
I scored a box of Lord Edwin "After Dinner Cigars" off of ebay. It was advertised as the box only, but if you scrolled down through the add and pictures, there was a pic of the box with the lid open and nine of the ten cigars still inside. The band on the cigars says "Habana" and there is a tax stamp on the box with a date of 1917. One of the cigars is a little busted up but the others are in good shape and they smell strongly of honey. Not sure what I am going to do with them but they are approaching 100 years old if the date on the tax stamp means anything. Tried to do some research on the vitola and manufacturer but was unable to find much info. If any of the BOTL's have any info on these or a source of information on very old cigars I would like to figure out exactly what I purchased and what should be done with them.
