I posted a picture of this awhile back and one of the members requested I get it in working shape. I saw it on the shelf again this morning, and decided I had to do it. It’s basically like a Zippo inside, cotton and wick. There is a tiny bit of wick left, as well as some ancient cotton, but there’s plenty of flint. I’ll replace all that stuff soon, but for now it works great! This thing is roughly 100 years old, but strong flame!A71ACE16-3337-4185-8CDB-C59DA6BB27B3.jpegF884C1AF-5D64-43F5-99DB-B93D7B3A2418.jpegD2793096-C9DB-443D-963E-BC457494CD39.jpeg

Alrighty, this has inspired me to take a stab at restoring my grandfather's lighter. Ordered some Ronson flints. I'll see if replacing it gives me a spark, and then go from there. The internet yields surprisingly little info about this particular model.
