  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

1940's - Thanks again Mitch

While in Florida I finally got to smoke with my best friend the two 1940’s Prinz Heinreichs that you sent me. The cigars were in excellent condition despite their age and they smoked and tasted great. My buddy Dave asked me to thank you for him too. He was the perfect person smoke these cigars with not only because he is my best friend and enjoyed them as much as I did (we both burned our fingers on these) but like me he appreciated the experience and nostalgia of smoking something from the WWII era.

Moro did an excellent job reviewing this cigar (link below for those interested).

The only thing I would add is that I picked up slight nutty flavor from time to time especially when retro haled through the nose which was smoooooth as silk. My buddy said he picked up a slight leather note as well. I didn’t get that but I don’t think I’ve ever really picked up leather in a cigar. Maybe my taste buds just don’t pick that flavor up or I have to go chew on a baseball glove to get a benchmark for the flavor.

In any case your gift made for a great experience and good time for both of us and I can’t thank you enough!
