here is my stick as I smoke it.
1979 Por Larraaga Petit Corona

This stick is nice and ready for a smoke. The construction held up well in the humi. I have had this stick for about 5 years.
The pictures kinda suck as I don't know how to use my wifes camera.
it had a nice layer of plume on the stick and the cello was nice and brown.


here is the first few mins.


This has a very complex flavor profile at the beginning. its nice and smooth with hints of ceder and citrus notes. a nice flowery profile with a bit of nutmeg taste. The burn has been spot on since I lit it.
I am enjoying this stick with some Makers Mark and it really adds to the depth of the stick.


I have let this stick for a few mins and it still had a even burn. Sometimes I have to put a stick down to go take care of the 8 month old when he needs a bottle while sleeping. This was the case. I expected to need to relight but was excited to have a stick with a full light going.
I will update my review as the stick is smoked.

This is the best stick I have smoked in a long time. Nice full flavor but not to strong.

the oldest I've had was a 98 and that was great, very nice smoke and it definitely sounds like a PL for sure, great review!

This stick has picked up a bit of pepper tones and still is smoking spot on.
I am finishing this stick with a diet coke. The coke give a bit of depth to the smoke and causes the taste to get a bit fuller. I would say it gives the taste of cardamom or Anise.



here is the stick almost done the heat is a bit warmer but not enough to make the cigar harsh. This cigar is so good i may just put it in a pipe and finish it up.

This has been an awesome time and thank you for the group setting this up. I
would have let this stick sit for a lot longer that I should have and risk it getting damaged.

what was the size on that? It does not look like any Por Larranaga petit Corona that I ever smoked.
