• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

  • I am thankful for all of my BOTL friends! Everyone please be safe and enjoy your time with family, friends who however you are choosing to spend the day!

Wow can't believe its already been 20 years... I can't say I remember him passing but he's certainly had an impact on the way I viewed music later in life. Cheers to a legend of the guitar

I was introduced to SRV at a young age, though it was already after his passing. He's definitely one of the major reasons I learned to play, and one of my idols. RIP Stevie

Well I guess it’s always been obvious what I think. One of the greatest of all time. I can remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I heard the news. It's hard to believe it's been 20 years.
There’ll never be another SRV.
RIP Stevie Ray

Howdy All:

I hope you are well.

I really miss him, I find it hard to believe it has been 20 years. I am getting old. I had the chance to see him his last solo performance at Kalamazoo county fairgrounds.

Best regards, tony

Can't believe 20 years have passed. It's still so fresh in my mind. Truly a tremendous loss to the blues and music in general. That man had soul. R.I.P. Stevie.

Great reminder - incredibly talented musician - could listen to him all day - I really need to focus on the lyrics of music to enjoy them, my natural tendency is to sync with the instrumentals and his music can be completely enjoyed without lyrics - yes the lyrics are great!!!
