D/FW. Mesquite to be specific.
My only experiences with crown vic's involve slamming the shit outta my brakes anytime I see one for fear it's an undercover 5-0
Happened to me last month. All black, some old lady won't speed up or slow down when she's the one merging, and I'm trying to exit. So I say fuck it, go up to like 90 and get ahead of her and take my exit. I'm one turn away from getting to work and I see two little lights along his windshield. Sucks lol

Testament to maintaining our cars is that you'll see them go well over the 100K miles. I have a 1999 BMW328I with 150K on it and runs as good as it did brand new. Quality oil, quality parts, drive it like you respect it and you won't be buying cars every 4 years. I love my car...I love not having to make car payments and my other car (SUV) is 16 years old and both of my vehicles look new.

I'm hoping to get another 100k out of her. I would rather buy more cigars instead of making car payments. Only time will tell.

lol, that light never goes off. Ask any officer who drives one, 99% of the time they'll say theirs stays on.
Its a 2010, drove several in my short time on. 2007 Crown Vics are the best I have drove by far. They accelerate a lot faster and to me feel more agile. I'll take a 2007 over any other year.

Got 150K on my X Terra and looking to hit 200K. Those Vics will run forever with those 4.6s. Ask any police officer or cab driver.

Seems like a liability issue. What happens when the tire is really low and something bad happens?

Good question, but we're severely in need of new patrol vehicles in general. Doubt the city cares about tire meters and such. We're supposed to get rid of a vehicle at 5 years of service or 100k miles, which ever comes first. But we still have 2002 crown vics rolling around with close to 200k miles. Just the way it is.
