I couldn't pass up this beautiful day so I decided to fire up something extra special. A 2005 Opus X Lancero Tubo.
A pre-draw slammed me with instant spice. Once lit the spice mellowed out a hair, but it was definitely still there. Kind of a dark black fresh cracked pepper with a touch of nutmeg. About midway through the pepper got extremely strong, but the stick stayed smooth & creamy. I got a little taste of leather also. The ash was light & flaky. It only held on for about a half an inch at a time. The last third was mind blowing. I didn't think the spice could pick up any more, but it did. By the time I got down to the nub I was a bit light headed. That could also be because I didn't eat since this morning. I enjoyed this smoke greatly & I'd once again like to say thanks to the sender. A very special smoke in dead. But all smokes are meant to be smoked!
