  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Pa,
2009 holiday blend one of my favorites.

It started off with a toasted nut flavor with just a slight bitterness

That bitterness then left and I was left with a delicious toasted nut. The draw was effortless

It continued with the toasted nuttiness and picked up a hint of sweetness with loads of smoke

At the halfway point I started to pick up a woodsy * Tart flavor after a purge the tart flavor went away and I was left with a nice woodsy flavor

Nearing the end the toasted nut flavor started to pop back up and eventually took over until the end.

I smoked this while walking my dogs. It was an awesome cigar that I will be able to enjoy a few more times before I run out.*

Great cigar and nice review...

Your pics make me wish we had some snow on the ground, versus just all this rain. Love smoking a nice cigar with snow on the ground...always seems more peaceful IMO.

Great review, nice dogs and sounds like a wonderful experience. Would love to borrow the dogs and snow for a similar afternoon walk, but then you can have them back.

I had planned on having one of these around the Holidays, but despite being off work for 11 days, I just never had time/motivation to fire one up. I could remedy that tonight, but there always seems to be some "new" stick I've been waiting to try (like the Mercer PDR pyramid tonight) so maybe tomorrow.

Great review, and those are some beautiful looking dogs.

It looks like you had some burn problems - was the stick self-correcting? Or did you have to touch up?

It was self correcting. It didnt cause any problems. The stick produced tons of smoke the whole time.
