I just purchased these in June 2013 and saw the review for the BOTL Drew Estates blend and wanted to try the PDR that I purchased – so I cracked one open. Note that the cigars had only been in my humidor for one month.
It is a well constructed 6 x 46 cigar that lit easily and had a very easy draw. Consistent medium bodied cigar that didn’t vary from start to finish. Showed some hint of a peppery flavor that was a little harsh and left a slight after taste.
I came to a similar as the 2013 BOTL Drew Estates review 2 weeks ago. I’m hoping that some time in my humidor will age them because they could end up being an excellent cigar with a little age since the cigar has a lot going for it.
Personally - After only one month in the humidor I don’t know if would want to buy in the future or recommend to someone. But I’ve got a huge humidor and can bury them for a few years.
