Never smoked an Anejo (I know, I know. Shhhh) but I have a few in the humidor. A 46 that Craig Mac hit me with, that is of indeterminate age, though presumably not from this year, plus a few Anejo 50s that I grabbed at my local shop for a phenomenal price (Gotta love when the B&Ms get their Fuente Holiday shipment, and actually charge MSRP or less.) They all smell phenomenal, but I think the 46 from Craig will be my first experience, as I always have heard that the Anejo, like the Opus blends, really benefit from age, and if there's one thing I have come to appreciate in the finer Fuente cigars, it's the truth behind that statement. My experiences with older Opus (those with at least a year, if not a couple on them) have been phenomenal, while my experiences with Opus that have a year or less on them, have been great, but not on the same level.
Wow, I sound like a Fuente slut.
