  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Since today is a big herf day, I thought it would be cool to have a thread running of all the sticks we were hammering down with short and sweet reviews as the day goes on.

I plan to kill 7-8 so short and sweet will be the ticket.

So who's first? I know someone's already got one done today.

Tried a Rocky Patel ITC after lunch that was gifted to me by JJ. Burn was a little jagged but had a decent flavor structure that lasted throughout the whole stick. Wood flavor and tobacco. Wouldn't buy it but it was good to try.

I am going to smoke some thing with a fleur-de-lis in celebration for the team I am pulling for. I always love any of these sticks but I will let you know more later.

El Rey de Los Habanos by DPG corona right now. Prelight flavor was delish, nice and sweet actually. Burning like a champ, nice and even. I've been going through these things like crazy lately, damn good stick, especially when you consider the price (box of 23 for around 90 bucks online)!

Just finished a Murcielago robusto. Prelight smell was incredible as was the draw. Burn was perfect and the cocoa and leather flavors lasted all the way through. Nice white ash and stregth really sneaks up on you towards the end. A little steep at $8.50 a stick but I will definitely be looking for a box deal. Great smoke

Starting with a DCM Stanford's 90th. Great burn, complex flavors, awesome stick.
Finished with a very nice LFD Cameroon Cabinet.

finished a viaje exclusivo. the rest of these are gonna go down for a rest. they're good, but the two i've had have just the faintest "whang" that is not my favorite. certainly not enough to think this isn't a really good stick, but with time it may be a great one. next up....pad 44 nattie

Me too! Very rich smoke - love it! BTW - Atlantic has box deals.
