  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

So, coming up in a few months is my 21st birthday, and naturally I'm preparing a fairly big event. Since my brother is an experienced bartender, the liquor side of things is pretty well covered. All I need now is a couple of excellent CCs to round it off. Alas, it seems like all the really extraordinary CCs require significant aging to be at their best -- aging which I can't do, since I only have two and a half months.

So, are there any recommendations out there for a special CC that will be worthwhile after only a few months? The PSD4 is probably my overall favourite CC so far, but I've found something I like in every marca I've tried, so I'm open to all recommendations.

The 07 SLR DC's are smoking very well for being so young and would make an excellent b-day smoke IMO.

Bolivar Immensas would be good choice as well.

I'm not sure ANYTHING will be "worthwhile" after just a couple of months.

Have you considered getting sticks that are already aged, instead?

Depends on who are ye gonna share the sticks with. Experienced smokers? Non smokers? Also, try and get aged ones at the B&M.

PM your addy.
I would say the Ramon Allones you gave me, in San Diego, would be a great choice, but that would be like shooting myself in the foot. I'll be asking for a little purchase here in a week or so. NO GIFTS, you've done enough, but I'll be asking for a little purchase if you don't mind.

Deffinetly one of the best there is. But of course 2nd place is about a 25 way tie.

PM sent! I really wasn't looking for a handout, but it's hard to refuse in the circumstances. Oneaday, your amazing and constant generosity is a model for us all.
