2nds

Fellas...

I have a new humi that I want to stock. I was thinking of getting A FEW 2nds along with some "regular" sticks to help me fill this thing up and get some on-hand inventory without blowing out the budget...

What's you opinion of 2nds...worth the money? Depends? If so, any recommendations?

If you like Rocky Patel Vintage 90/92s, the 2nds are a steal. They can be found very cheaply on CBid. (Just be patient; there are always a bunch of lots, so you should be able to pick up bundles of 15 for ~$25, sometimes less.) The 2nds I've bought have only cosmetic flaws (inconsistent wrapper colors, minor flaws in the wrapper, etc.) and smoke as well as the banded versions.

Perdomo Cuban Wheels you can get them on Cbid pretty cheap or on CI just let them sit for a while(few months- a year)

My opinion is only get them if you are smoking on a regular basis. Otherwise you will fill up your humidor too quickly. You will end up with chances to get better sticks somewhere and not have any room cause you have seconds taking up the space.

If you are going to get them anyway, the rocky patels as mentioned are good. Also check out Tampa Sweethearts cause the Flor De Ybor are very nice and a bargain.

If you are smoking daily, the 2 nds will be work it. If you smoke a couple times a week as I do, it fills the humidor and you don't have the room to try all the other sticks you hear or read about. Now I know some of you have big humi's, LOL! and you like to brag about it, but sometimes it's quality over quantity......

For the foughly the same amount of money you can pick up some stuff from here. Much better than the bundled stuff and this is a place where Ahhhhhnold not only has a cigar named for him but, he has picked them up himself a couple of times.
