BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

For someone that has a S.T. Dupont lighter, are they actually worth the money or is it honestly just a status thing to say you have a Dupont? I have a single torch Lotus lighter that I'm happy with but if a Dupont will last me forever, I would think about buying it.

I have had one for almost 2 years now I think and it has been great the entire time. Since the day I started using mine (paid 120ish) a friend of mine went through 3 different torches all in the 40$ range. One and done with a Dupont, status has nothing to do with the price on these, now the soft flame versions with diamonds and platinum.... lol
Your results may vary I suppose but I have never heard a negative thing about them....
I sprang for the shnoop deal. This is my second X-tend (my first one is the full size version). They are definitely worth the money IMO (to answer Aloha Style) and are the only lighters I have ever had that always light on the first click. As to the color, it's a matter of taste, and I happen to like bright colors. As to shnoop, my credit card was one of the ones that got compromised, but they appear to have fixed the problem, and I have ordered from them a number of times with no issues. I always use poop pal with them, and I'm not sure whether you have an option of paying directly by credit card --- for a while, I know that poop pal was the only option.
