Hindsight is 20/20...if I did it again, I would pick the paint and have all the 2 x 4's painted before attaching the chicken wire.  What a pain in the ass it was to paint through chicken wire!  Oh well...it's done.

Did someone ask you about coyotes in your area. They will go through that chicken wire like a hot knife through butter. Voice of experience here from much earlier days.

Bummer, I wish I had said something. Even easier to paint the planks on a couple of saw horses then put it together.

In late July, I added a tin roof, painted the door a darker color, and added batten on the sides.

Got my first eggs yesterday and today. :grin:

I will be frying them. No roosters so they are not fertilized.
