Over the last few months I have had inquiries about 60% Rh beads from numerous folks. They are used for dry boxes or normal storage of cigars by some. Since I have had requests I am going to add 60% beads to the lineup at my webstore. They will be available in all of the sizes and containers I sell. Just FYI.

I just finished setting up a drybox with these very same beads. I will check back in in two weeks. :)

Damn, wish the glossary was up. What is a dry box? What does it do, what is it's function. I gathered it is about 60% RH.

Typically it is an empty humidor, or cigar box, with no humidification media in it.

It is used in the hopes of "opening up" the draw on over humidified cigars.

I have some of the 70% beads but I would like to put 65% beads in a tuperdoor for ready to smoke cigars. Should I buy 65% and 60% and transfer the cigars that are 70% to the 65% for awhile and then transfer to the 60% for 1 week before I'm ready to smoke them or are the 65% beads good enough. Too many decisions for me! I have a short attention span.

Save yourself the trouble. For ready to smoke cigars pick up the 65%.
