  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

the cuvee grand lancero. received in a darkman bomb, thank you sir!!

being a cusano/cuvee fan i've been looking forward to smoking this.
nice firm feel,it smells of tobacco and not much else

individually numbered

quick,easy light,like it's been waiting to burn.
woodsy with coffee right off the bat

smooth easy draw. lanceros tend to be tight draws for me,but not this time.
picking up a little nuttiness, more creamy than spicey, although there is a bit of bite to it

herfing with some monster friends...zilla that's not your hat!
put the bunny down

lots of smoke, very light ash, falls off every inch or so.
looks like don king...lol

coffee faded. wood, nut, with a little grassy earth peeking in to dry the pallet.
kinda like french kissing a dolly parton scarecrow...not that i've ever done that!

perfect burn from the git go. not a dull puff in this cigar

picking up a little spice action. suttle, but there.

what started as medium bodied cigar has turned toward full in the final third
and is trying to kick my butt, and doing a pretty good job of it!!

a very robust finish has left me sitting and wondering what just happened.
wow! what a cigar! thank you darkman!!
gonna go look for some of these...

Great review Ron, no pics are better than your review pictures of zilla & friends.

kinda like french kissing a dolly parton scarecrow? wtf? Seriously Ron do you have like a book of crazy expressions there or what? Are your friends smoking blunts? All those cigars and you don't even share the good stuff with your buddies? All weirdness aside, great review as usual.

Chris, I knew that Ron was gonna love that cigar, thats why I kept bugging him to smoke and review it.

The Cuvee Grand Lancero was released in late 2006 to Europe. People raved about it and it made its way back to the states in early 2007. The blend is comprised of Honduran longfiller, Mexican binder, and a beautifully dark, even-toned Ecuadorian wrapper. Only 850 numbered boxes of 20 cigars were made. If you can find them they will run between $12.00 - $14.00 a piece.

(Excellant review and pic's Ron, you hit it right on the head with that one!)

Good luck finding the old Grands. Hal at Empire smoked 'em all. :widemouth

The new Grands to not compare to the old ones. However, the Cusano 15th Anni's, which are a lancero, taste very similar. Hal, Larry & Co. have 'em at empire.
