I have a homemade Humidor in a Igloo cooler which I keep in the basement. The problem is I live in New England andmy basement is now getting very cold and it can't seem to keep the humidity level that it does in the summer. So with out keeping it in my closet is there any sugestions on how to keep the humidity level up in there.

Thanks,

John M

there are 2 things that you can do. First, try to improve the seal on your igloo. Foam insualtion tape for the hardware store should help. Second, add supplemental humidification in the winter months. Some Heartfelt Beads or Bovedas would be the safest way to boost your humidity without worrying about making the humidity too high.
