BoM x 2, BoY 2011
tried the new queen b by fuente tonight. put it next to the king, and of course is slightly smaller and looks similar to an anjeo. was a little difficult to light, the maduro wrapper was a little thickish and it is pretty fresh as well. once going it burned ok. a couple of times it burned a little to one side, but it pretty much self corrected. flavor was full with lots of chewy smoke. had a slightly flinty undertaste that i get with some of the better fuentes. not unpleasant, just their flavor to me. it got a little harsh in the middle but smoothed out after that. it is definitely young. i'm thinking it would have some decent aging potential, again like an anjeo. leaning more that way than most of their other maduros. don't know the price point on this, but i imagine it will not be that cheap. if you're a maduro and fuente fan, you might like this cigar....after a rest.
