Acid Blondie

First of all, my cousin dared me to try this cigar and I took the dare. Now, onto the review:

Date: 10/30/08

Cigar: Acid Blondie (4 x 38)

Cost: $3.50

Drink: Sierra Mist

Appearance: 2 banded cigar that says "ACID" on the top band with a blue background. The bottom band has a black background and says "BLONDIE". The wapper was smooth with no major veins showing.

Pre-light: This has a horrible smell to it. It reminds me of flowers and Vic's Vapor Rub. I never want to smell this cigar again! Putting the cigar to my lips makes my lips extremely sweet.

Taste of the cigar: This cigar was extremely sweet. I could only smoke 0.5" of it.

Construction: The draw was perfect.

Summary: This cigar was horrible. I would NEVER buy this again. I still have that terrible smell in my mind. Between the horrible smell, and the extremely sweet taste, this is terrible. I give this a 1/10.

A very good friend of mine bought me a Prometheus lighter as a gift years back. The only stipulation with it was that the first cigar I had to light with it was one that he gave me, so knowing Chris, I was thinking Cuban Davidoff, 1980's Dunhill, something totally kick ass...no, he gave me an Acid Blondie. I asked him if he was serious to which he replied yes, I clipped and lit the cigar, smoked about half of it before I asked him if I could be finished to which he replied, sure, you didn't have to smoke it, just light it. :scratchhe

I just had a Blondie last week. I had a sinus infection, so I figured who cares. I didn't hate the smell, so that's why I didn't hate the cigar. The draw was perfect and that little guy really pumped out a lot of smoke! It was creamy too. I also just ripped off the pigtail cap, which was fun (again, who cares right?).

Honestly, i didn't hate it. I didn't love it either. I think it will be a nice change-of-pace or something to hand to non-cigar people I'm with when I don't feel like "wasting" a Java on them, lol.

He's got you there Wade, but the Acid Blondie causes Gale to lose his Man Card for at least a week. Elder only loses his for 3 days because it was a dare. There are some dares you should just not take.
